Abstract
"MÉTODO PARA REALÇAR A EFICÁCIA DE TERAPIAS CONTRA O CÂNCER". A eficácia de terapias contra o câncer convencionais, tal como cirurgia, quimioterapia e radiação, é realçada pelo uso de um material terapêutico que se aglutina e interage com as galectinas. O material terapêutico pode realçar apoptose por meio do qual aumentando a eficácia de agentes oncolíticos. Pode também inibir a angiogênese por meio do qual moderando a metástase e/ou crescimento do tumor.
