"FENILINDOÍS PARA O TRATAMENTO DE HIV". A invenção como aqui revelado é uma composição e seus usos para o tratamento de HIV em humanos e outros animais hospedeiros, que inclui a administração de uma quantidade de tratamento de HIV eficaz de um fenilindol como aqui descrito ou um sal ou pró-droga farmaceuticamente aceitável desse, opcionalmente em um veículo farmaceuticamente aceitável. Os compostos dessa invenção possuem atividade antiviral (ou seja, anti-HIV) , ou são metabolizados a um composto que exibe tal atividade.
