Abstract
"MÉTODO E SISTEMA PARA A RENOVAÇÃO DE UM ELEMENTO DE DADOS DE IDENTIFICAÇÃO E DISPOSITIVO DE IDENTIFICAÇÃO PORTÁTIL". O método é para a renovação de um elemento de dados de identificação (EDI) ativo em um dispositivo de identificação portátil (DIP), o DIP tendo pelo menos um primeiro EDI que tem estados iniciais ativo e válido e um segundo EDI que tem estados iniciais inativo e válido, todos os EDIs que têm um estado válido no DIP sendo destinados a identificar e a fazer aplicar dados de transação a uma conta associada ao DIP que não está situada no DIP, o EDI que tem um estado ativo no DIP sendo empregado para efetuar uma transação, o método compreendendo as seguintes etapas: a) modifica-se os estados do dito primeiro EDI de válido para inválido e de ativo para inativo; e b) modifica-se o estado do dito segundo EDI de inativo para ativo.
