Abstract
"CORREIA DE ANEL DE TRANSMISSÃO FLEXÍVEL". A invenção compreende uma correia de anel de transmissão flexível CVT. Esta compreende um anel de transmissão flexível (30) possuindo uma pluralidade de segmentos de anel adjacentes (31). Os segmentos compreendem materiais não metálico ou metálico suficiente para suportar uma carga compressora imposta pelas roldanas CVT. Os segmentos são interligados ao longo de um eixo geométrico longitudinal, e pré-carregados na posição de montagem por um membro elastomérico (50, 51) . Um membro de tensão ou correia (20) se apóia em uma superfície de sustentação circular externa formada pelos segmentos interligados. A correia de tensão pode compreender qualquer correia conhecida na técnica, por exemplo uma correia de transmissão de força de múltiplas estrias. O membro de tensão é movível ao longo de um eixo geométrico longitudinal relativo ao anel de transmissão na superfície de sustentação circular. Os segmentos compreendem, adicionalmente, superfícies inclinadas opostas, para ligar superfícies de roldanas em uma polia.
