Abstract

"VÁLVULA DE SEGURANÇA PARA SISTEMAS DE ALIMENTAÇÃO A GÁS". Foi idealizada a fim de ser usada em ambientes domésticos ou industriais para previnir e evitar acidentes decorrentes do vazamento de gás nas tubulações. A "Válvula de Segurança para Sistemas de Alimentação a GáS" interrompe automaticamente o fornecimento de gás para os dutos, assim que o valor máximo de vazão estipulada for ultrapassada, que ocorre quando há rompimento nas mangueiras ou dutos que transportam o gás para os queimadores, por quebra mecânica (fadiga), quebra por animais ou pessoas, furos por ferramentas e pelo fogo, entre outros. A válvula deve ser instalada no início da tubulação, logo após a válvula reguladora de pressão (quando houver). Seu funcionamento ocorre sem o auxílio de qualquer tipo de energia externa, através a vazão do gás.
