"INIBIDORES DE GIRASE E SEUS USOS". A presente invenção refere-se a compostos de fórmula I ou um derivado farmaceuticamente aceitável ou uma pró-droga do mesmo. Os compostos são úteis como inibidores da atividade de girase bacteriana. A presente invenção também refere-se a métodos para tratar infecções bacterianas em mamíferos. A presente invenção também refere-se a métodos para reduzir a quantidade de bactérias em uma amostra biológica.
