Abstract
"MÉTODO PARA RESTAURAR UMA PRÓTESE DE SUBSTITUIÇÃO DE QUADRIL, PRÓTESE DE SUBSTITUIÇÃO DE QUADRIL, E, UTILIZAÇÃO DA MESMA". Um método para restaurar uma prótese de substituição de quadril é descrito, no qual a prótese compreende uma haste, uma cabeça femoral, e uma casca acetabular que tem um revestimento de polietileno, o revestimento tendo se tomado gasto ou danificado. O método compreende remover o revestimento e substituí-lo por um revestimento superficial duro, e prendê-lo na casca acetabular, o revestimento superficial duro sendo conformado para se ajustar à cabeça femoral. O método é realizado sem romper a fixação da haste e/ou a casca acetabular.
