Abstract
"APARELHO DE VÁLVULA EGR". Um aparelho de válvula de EGR (16) regula a quantidade de gás de escapamento recirculado em um sistema de EGR. As válvulas de EGR (28) são abertas ou fechadas por um eixo rotativo (30), o qual é atuado por um motor (14). Alternativamente, as válvulas podem ser equilibradas no eixo, as válvulas se movendo em uma direção oposta, durante uma rotação. Um cabeçote corrediço em linha pode ser empregado, para vencer a pressão no sistema, antes do movimento das válvulas. Em uma outra montagem alternativa, o motor gira um eixo roscado, para mover um macho em direção e para longe de um orifício.
