Abstract
"VÁLVULA DE ENCAIXE E APARELHO DE VEDAÇÃO CONTRA INCÊNDIO". Um sistema de vedação compreende um anel compressível resistente ao fogo e um bolsão anular com seção transversal não-plana, formados entre duas superfícies de encaixe de um vaso de pressão tal como uma válvula de encaixe. O bolsão é formado proporcionando-se um chanfro numa superfície deste tipo que é então envolvida pela outra superfície deste tipo. O anel é comprimido dentro do bolsão para preencher substancialmente o bolsão quando do acoplamento das duas superfícies.
