Caracterizado pelo fato de compreender uma memória não volátil que possibilita o armazenamento dos conteúdos fiscais correspondentes às vendas diárias, sendo que a dita memória possui sistema de proteção em "hardware" que impossibilita a sobrescrita nas posições de memória que já apresentem conteúdos fiscais.
