Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA APERFEIÇOAR O ÍNDICE DE COR DE ÁLCOOIS POLIÍDRICOS". Um processo para aperfeiçoar grandemente o índice de cor de álcoois poliídricos, especialmente trimetilolpropano, por hidrogenação, compreende usar, na hidrogenação, um álcool que já tenha sido purificado por destilação. Os catalisadores usados são aqueles convencionalmente empregados em hidrogenações, preferivelmente catalisadores de cobre, níquel, paládio ou rutênio.
