Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAÇÃO DE N-FOSFONOMETILGLICINA". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação de fosfonometilglicina, no qual o N-Óxido de ácido N-fosfonometiliminodiacético é colocado em contato com uma quantidade cataliticamente ativa de pelo menos um catalisador, selecionado dentre um haleto de tionila, ditionita de amônio ou uma ditionita de metal alcalino, um sulfito de dialquila, dicloreto de enxofre, dióxido de enxofre e ácido sulfuroso, em uma câmara de reação, pela dosagem de N-óxido de ácido N-fosfonometiliminodiacético ao interior da câmara de reação, de modo tal que, sempre, pelo menos 50% do N-Óxido dosado ao interior da câmara de reação sejam convertidos.
