A invenção refere-se a preparação genética de toxinas de proteínas de levedura - as chamadas leveduras killer - para o combate de leveduras e/ou de fungos patogênicos humanos e vegetais, sendo que estes podem ser mortos seletivamente. A alta especificidade assegura a aplicação das toxinas de proteínas como antimicótico e/ou fungicida. Além disso, tais toxinas de proteínas podem ser aplicadas para a proteção de plantas.
