"HEXAIDROPIRROLO[1,2-C] PIRIMIDINAS COMO AGENTES ANTI-VIRÓTICOS, ANTI-FÚNGICOS E/OU ANTI-TUMORAIS". Métodos melhorados para síntese enantiosseletiva total, convergente de compostos alcalóides de guanidínio incluindo os tendo unidades cis ou trans-1-oxo e 1-iminoexaidropirrolo [1,2-c] pirimidina incluindo 13,14,15-isocrambescidina 800, crambescidina 800 e ptilomicalina A, para o uso como agentes terapêuticos tendo atividade anti-fúngica e/ou anti-virótica e/ou anti-tumoral são fornecidos. Os métodos para preparar os novos intermediários pentacíclicos para a preparação da família de crambescidina/ptilomicalina de alcanóides de guanidínio e congêneres são também divulgados.
