Patente de Invenção: "USO DE GENES DAS VIAS BIOSSINTÉTICAS DO DESÓXI-D-XILULOSE FOSFATO PARA A ALTERAÇÃO DA CONCENTRAÇÃO DE ISOPRENÓIDE". A invenção refere-se ao uso de seqüências de DNA de bactérias e parasitas, a saber os genes gcpe e yfgB para a integração no genoma de vírus, de eucariotos e de procariotos e desta forma alterando a concentração de isoprenóides. A invenção refere-se ainda aos processos para a indentificação de substâncias que exibem uma atividade herbicida, antiparasítica, antiviral e fungicida em plantas e uma atividade antimicótica, antiparasítica e antiviral em seres humanos e em animais.
