Patente de Invenção: "INDICADORES BIOLÓGICOS PARA VALIDAÇÃO DE UM PROCESSO DE ESTERILIZAÇÃO DE PRÍON". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de avaliação da eficiência de processos de esterilização por medição do nível de degradação de indicadores tipo proteína príon. Quando expostos a condições de esterilização, indicadores príon são degradados de maneira a indicar proporcionalmente o nível de degradação de proteínas príon em si nos dispositivos médicos ou outras superfícies utilizáveis em cirurgia e tratamentos médicos.
