Abstract
"POLIPEPTÍDEO, SEQÜÊNCIA DE ÁCIDO NUCLEICO, VETOR DE EXPRESSÃO RECOMBINANTE, CÉLULA HOSPEDEIRA RECOMBINANTE, MÉTODOS PARA PRODUZIR UMA SEQÜÊNCIA DE ÁCIDO NUCLEICO MUTANTE E PARA PRODUZIR UM POLIPEPTÍDEO, MUTANTE DE UM POLIPEPTÍDEO COM ATIVIDADE DE ALFA-AMILASE, E, USO DO POLIPEPTÍDEO OU VARIANTE". A presente invenção diz respeito a polipeptídeos isolados tendo atividade de alfa-amilase e às sequências isoladas de ácido nucleico que codificam os polipeptídeos. A invenção também diz respeito às construções de ácido nucleico, vetores e células hospedeiras que compreendam as seqüências de ácido nucleico bem como a métodos para produzir e usar os polipeptídeos.
