"TERAPIA COMBINADA DE INIBIDOR DE ENZIMA CONVERSORA DE ANGIOTENSINA E ANTAGONISTA DE ALDOSTERONA EPÓXI-ESTEROIDAL PARA TRATAMENTO DE DOENÇA CARDIOVASCULAR". Descreve-se combinações de um inibidor de ACE e um antagonista de receptor de aldosterona epóxi-esteroidal para uso no tratamento de distúrbios circulatórios. São de interesse específico as terapias que usam compostos antagonistas de receptores de aldosterona do tipo epóxi-esteroidal, como a esplerenona, em combinação com um inibidor de enzima conversora de angiotensina. Esta co-terapia seda particularmente útil para tratar insuficiência cardíaca congestiva, e ao mesmo tempo evitando ou reduzindo efeitos colaterais induzidos por antagonistas de aldosterona, como a hipercalemia.
