Patente de Invenção: "MÉTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA ALIMENTAR UM DISPOSITIVO ELETRÔNICO COM CARACTERES ALFA NUMÉRICOS COM ACENTOS OU EXTENSÕES". Um método e um equipamento para alimentar um dispositivo eletrônico com um caracter alfa numérico possuindo um acento ou extensão. Um caracter básico é alimentado ao dispositivo eletrônico utilizando um teclado (310) e o caracter básico é a seguir exibido no display (330) do dispositivo. A seguir, uma tabela (200) que inclui uma pluralidade de acentos ou extensões (210) é exibida ao usuário no display (330) do dispositivo. O usuário a seguir seleciona um acento ou extensão (210) a partir da tabela (200) que o usuário deseja associar ao caracter básico. Após a seleção do acento ou extensão a partir da tabela (200) pelo usuário, o caracter base é substituído no display do dispositivo (330) por um caracter composto que consiste do caracter base e o acento ou extensão (210) selecionado pelo usuário a partir da tabela (200).
