"CONECTORES DE LINHAS". Um conector de linha, tal como uma saída de soquete ou pluque, incluindo pelo menos um membro de contato tal como receptáculo ou pino eletricamente conectado ao membro de contato e ao qual um condutor elétrico pode ser conectado. O terminal de contato tem uma ponta que pode ser forçadamente inserida dentro do membro tubular para conectar eletricamente um terminal de contato ao membro de contato. Aplicações incluem plugues e soquetes desmontáveis.
