Trata de um equipamento (1) para picar/triturar palha/ biomassa de forma homogênea sendo formado por um duto de entrada (2), duto de saída (3) rotor (4) com martelos (5) osciladores que captam e arrastam a palha em direção a placa desfibradora (6) e daí para o duto de saída (3) já em um dimensional apropriado para a queima em caldeira juntamente com o bagaço da cana.
