Compreendido por um eixo o qual em substituição normalmente ao último eixo do caminhão, carreta ou do bitrem possuindo um sistema interno que força a redução de rotação desse eixo através de comandos no painel do veículo, fazendo com que todo o conjunto seja segurado ou frenado pela traseira, mantendo todo o conjunto, seja ele carreta ou bitrem, alinhado.
