Caracterizada pelo fato de: transformar um rolamento metálico em um rolamento com cobertura de material plástico selecionando uma qualidade adequada entre as variedades existentes e de acordo com as necessidades requeridas, para com isso obter a serie de vantagens no uso de aplicações específicas como janelas, portas ou cortinas corrediças, para evitar o molesto ruído gerado ao movimentar-se, assim como evitar também os trancamentos, por não estar sujeitas ao deterioro do metal pela ação da intempérie.
