É um berço para acomodar o telefone enquanto espera atendimento que, contém uma fonte sonora, tipo rádio portátil, toca disco CD e outros, com sistema liga-desliga manual ou pelo apoio do próprio fone do telefone. O berço possui carcaça individual ou pode estar acoplado no corpo do aparelho telefônico de modo que a fonte sonora fique embutida na caraça do aparelho telefônico; todos os comandos da fonte sonora, tipo liga/desliga volume e sintonia, estão juntos ao berço.
