"DISPOSIÇÃO TÉCNICA INTRODUZIDA EM FIOS PARA FABRICAÇÃO DE GAXETAS E VEDANTES INDUSTRIAIS". A presente Patente de Modelo de Utilidade diz respeito a Disposição Técnica Introduzida em Fios Para Fabricação de Gaxetas e Vedantes Industriais, (1), caracterizada por ser constituída por dois componentes básicos sendo um componente interno (2) formado por fios, fibras ou combinações de ambos e um componente externo (3) constituído por PTFE. O componente interno (2) é constituído por fibras de fios vegetais ou minerais tais como fios de fibra de vidro, acrílico; algodão; poliéster, rami ou outros, sendo que o componente externo (3), o qual forma o revestimento aparente da gaxeta ou vedante industrial é formado por fios ou fitas de PTFE puro branco ou com grafite.
