Esta bomba, bombeia água através da força centrífuga no grande volume de água no rotor tubular centrífugo (2), localizado no topo da bomba, que succiona a água através do tubo de sucção (1) elevando a água até a calha coletora (3) que escoa através da força da gravidade até a caixa (4) ou é distribuída pela tubulação de saída (10).
