Desprovida de armação, a qual é formada por um velame sintético [1], cortado de forma razoavelmente trapezoidal, sendo em seu dorso solidárias, por colagem, costura ou soldagem, canaletas afuniladas [2] aerodinâmicas; no lado menor do trapézio do velame [1] é fixada uma tira [3] estabilizadora e, nos vértices do lado maior do trapézio do velame [1], existem pequenos cordões [4], aos quais é fixado o estirante transversal [5], sendo nele engatado um alfinete [6], por sua vez presa à linha [7] de sustentação.
