Com objetivo de remover bactérias residentes na superfície da língua, constituindo-se de um instrumento de formato particular para uso manual, portando uma cabeça curvada em "U" cuja superfície externa é circular e a superfície interna reta, de modo a formar uma linha de raspagem que é aplicada sobre a parte superior da língua, portando ainda, alça ou cabo por onde se segura o dispositivo.
