"INSTRUMENTO OBSTÉTRICO DESCARTÁVEL" Refere-se o presente pedido a um instrumento de material sintético, pré-esterelizado e descartável, de uso obstétrico, utilizável com uma só mão, num movimento dos dedos similar ao de empurrar o êmbolo de uma seringa de injeção, para simultâneamente cortar e prender com presilhas o cordão umbilical de recém nascidos, evitando contaminação pelo sangue e minimizando o risco de infecções.
