Compreende blocos (1) de plástico transparente que são fabricados em metacrilato transparente ou em plástico transparente similar, com dureza apropriada, contendo cavidades (2) com formas, diâmetros e principalmente curvaturas (3) diferentes. Cavidades estas, que imitam os canais radiculares das classe I, II, III (segundo a classificação de De Deus) e cuja função principal é a sua utilização no ensino da endodontia pré-clínica bem como o ensino auto-instrucional do preparo e obturação dos canais radiculares "in-vitro".
