Trata-se de um dispositivo feito em material não condutor, destinado a proteção contra descargas elétricas, a ser usado como envolvente para registros de água aquecida por meio de resistências elétricas. A figura 1, serve como indicativo do produto, pois este pode ser fabricado nas mais diferentes formas e dimensões, em função do tipo de registro ou torneira que irá cobrir. Deste modo, cada tipo diferente de registro deverá ter um tipo diferente de dispositivo envolvente para ser colocado.
