Trata-se de um dispositivo de apoio lateral para recém-nascidos, com o propósito de manter sempre a criança numa posição lateral, de modo a proteger o bebê contra sufocamentos em caso de regurgitação, pequenas batidas, quedas e outro pequenos acidentes. Para isto o dispositivo conta com dois apoios (1) feito em material macio (11), triangulares, de tamanhos diferentes, interligados entre si por uma faixa larga (3) e recobertos por uma capa protetora (12).
