O objeto desta Patente não senão um chapéu (2) de praia dobrável e, portanto, acondicionável numa bolsa (1) que, para comodidade do usuário, é dotada de passantes (3), para o cinto e de alça (5) de mão. A flexibilidade construtiva do chapéu, permissiva do seu acondicionamento na bolsa (1) é determinada pelo setor (7) costurado, que guarnece uma estrutura de arame ou similar que, por meio do exercício de torção sobre as extremidades opostas da aba do chapéu (1), dobra-se facilmente.
