Abstract
O modem analógico é formado por um painel frontal, um cartão de circuito impresso e componentes eletrônicos, conforme a Figura 1, destinado à comunicação de dados full-duplex a 2 ou 4 fios, nas velocidades de 1.200 ou 2.400 bps síncrono e até 2.400 bps assíncrono compatível com as recomendações V.22 e V.22 bis do CCITT. O modem ITS 1022 bis implementa correção de erros e compressão de dados, atendendo às recomendações V.42 e V.42 bis do CCITT, respectivamente. Atende também aos padrões MNP-4 e MNP-7. Possui discagem e resposta automática segundo a V.25 bis do CCITT e padrão Hayes, configuração pelo painel frontal através da técnica VDC (Virtual Dip-Switch Configuration), configuração remota e supervisão em rede.
