Abstract
Por pipa entende-se o brinquedo comumente designado por outros nomes tais como: papagaio, arraia, cafifa, pandorga, quadrado, tapioca, balde. Este modelo consiste de uma superfície em forma de quadrilátero, feita de material flexível, mantida em sua forma através de uma estrutura dobrável de varetas. Todo o conjunto é controlado à distância por um par de cabos que permitem ao operador dirigir os movimentos da pipa. O conjunto de varetas possui articulações flexíveis, permitindo ao operador reduzir significativamente a área da pipa para seu acondicionamento e/ou transporte.
