A presente invenção se refere a um dispositivo rompível (14) para um invólucro de airbag (2), sendo que o dispositivo compreende um corpo (3) incorporando uma porção mecanicamente enfraquecida (22), sendo a porção mecanicamente enfraquecida (22) configurada para romper e fornecer uma abertura no corpo (3) quando a porção mecanicamente enfraquecida (22) for submetida a uma força de um airbag (10) inflando dentro do invólucro de airbag (2); e uma fixação liberável (28) acoplada ao corpo (3), a fixação liberável (28) sendo configurada para se fixar de modo liberável ao invólucro de airbag (2) para possibilitar que o dispositivo rompível (14) seja destacado do invólucro de airbag (2) e substituído após a porção mecanicamente enfraquecida (22) ter sido rompida.
