Abstract
PROCESSO DE REFINO HIDROTÉRMICO. Trata-se de sistemas e métodos de refino de qualquer óleo vegetal bruto, óleos vegetais, gorduras, óleos, graxas ou sabões para atender às especificações de óleo comestível. O refino inclui a mistura da matéria-prima do óleo bruto com água e pelo menos um reagente, para formar uma mistura; alimentar a mistura em um reator hidrotérmico e submeter a condições de calor, pressão e fluxo turbulento para causar a rápida hidrólise dos fosfolipídios e a reação dos contaminantes inorgânicos com o reagente para formar sais inorgânicos; manter as condições de temperatura, pressão e fluxo turbulento da mistura por um período de tempo predeterminado para evitar que a porção orgânica da mistura sofra uma reação de conversão e para formar um efluente do reator hidrotérmico.
