A presente invenção refere-se a uma junta universal (1), que inclui um par de cruzetas (7A, 7B) e uma aranha 7C, que proporciona uma conexão entre as cruzetas (7A, 7B). Um cubo (21) é associado com a primeira cruzeta (7A) e é coaxial com ela. Um limitador de torque (25) é interposto entre o cubo (21) e a primeira cruzeta (7A). O limitador de torque (25) compreende um engate (41, 45), contido em uma câmara com banho de óleo (30).
