A presente invenção refere-se, de forma geral, a uma combinação inovadora que compreende 2 diferentes polímeros catiônicos e aditivos de celulose de manipulação (ECA) e a sua utilização para promover a retenção de aditivos de celulose de manipulação (ECAs) em fibras aniônicas e coloides e na rede de fibra durante a fabricação de papel, opcionalmente em que o processo de fabricação de papel utiliza predominantemente ou totalmente fibras Kraft ou virgens.
