TOXINA BOTULÍNICA TIPO E, E SEU MÉTODO DE PURIFICAÇÃO. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para purificar a toxina botulínica (BTX). Mais especificamente, o método é realizado na ordem das etapas de purificação usando cromatografia de troca catiônica (CEX), cromatografia de interação hidrofóbica (HIC) e cromatografia de modo misto (troca catiônica (fosfato) e afinidade (cálcio)), e o método compreende adicionalmente a etapa de tratamento da tripsina para ativar a toxina botulínica. Portanto, o método pode purificar a toxina botulínica com excelente pureza e atividade e, assim, pode ser útil na produção de toxina botulínica.
