A presente invenção refere-se a compostos lipídicos de éter (ETL), tais como compostos de fosfolipídios de éter (ETPL), e seus usos na hiperativação de células dendríticas de mamíferos, tais como células dendríticas humanas ou células dendríticas caninas. A presente invenção também se refere a composições compreendendo um ETL, tal como um ETPL, e um ou mais dentre um agonista do receptor de reconhecimento de patógeno, um antígeno e células dendríticas de mamíferos, bem como métodos para produção e uso das composições.
