COMPOSIÇÃO FARMACÊUTICA OFTÁLMICA DE ALTA CONCENTRAÇÃO DE ROFLUMILASTE E USO DA MESMA. A presente invenção se refere a formulações farmacêuticas oftálmicas de alta concentração do inibidor da fosfodiesterase-4, roflumilaste, que são adequadas para administração intravítrea ou ocular em sítios de injeção internos ou externos ao olho e órbita. As composições podem compreender cerca de 2 % a cerca de 5 % em p/v de roflumilaste, um agente de viscosidade, um agente de tonicidade, um agente tampão, um tensoativo e água. As composições farmacêuticas são estáveis com pouca ou nenhuma impureza e podem ser injetadas a partir de uma seringa de calibre 27 ou 30 com força mínima, resultando em níveis terapêuticos de fármaco em tecidos relevantes para a superfície ocular, compartimento anterior, compartimentos vítreo/posterior e tecidos ou câmaras ao redor do olho.
