A presente invenção refere-se a um método de coloração para colorir uma cerâmica dentária (10) que inclui uma etapa para contatar a cerâmica dentária (10) com um líquido de coloração (30), em que o líquido de coloração (30) contém pelo menos dois íons metálicos mostrando a diferença entre os potenciais redox padrão de 0,5-4,0 inclusive.
