São descritos neste documento tratamentos e prevenções para prurigo nodular (PN), anticorpos e composições farmacêuticas para uso no tratamento ou prevenção de PN e usos de um anticorpo anti-IL-31RA (por exemplo, nemolizumabe) na fabricação de um medicamento para o tratamento ou prevenção de PN. Também são descritos neste documento biomarcadores de PN e métodos para alterar ou melhorar esses biomarcadores por meio de tratamentos com um anticorpo que se liga a IL-31RA (por exemplo, nemolizumabe).
