Abstract
RAÇÃO E MÉTODOS PARA CONTROLAR INFECÇÕES CAUSADAS POR DIOFILÁRIA EM UM MAMÍFERO. A presente invenção refere-se a uma ração animal oral e um método de prevenção e/ou controle de diofilárias em um mamífero com necessidade da mesma mediante a administração ao mamífero, por exemplo, um canino, de uma ração que compreende uma quantidade eficaz de um anti-helmíntico sistêmico que tem uma meia-vida relativamente longa por um tempo eficaz para fazer com que a quantidade de anti-helmíntico no sangue do mamífero se eleve e seja mantida a um nível terapeuticamente eficaz para prevenir e/ou controlar diofilárias.
