Abstract
SOFOROLIPÍDEOS MODIFICADOS COM PROPRIEDADES DESESPUMANTES APRIMORADAS. A presente invenção fornece soforolipídeos modificados que podem eliminar a espuma existente e/ou impedir a formação de nova espuma. As modificações, incluindo peracetilação e/ou transformação global de grupos hidroxila de soforose de soforolipídeos em éteres para reduzir o valor de HLB e criar desespumantes de origem de base biológica com alto teor de carbono de origem de base biológica. A presente invenção também fornece composições compreendendo soforolipídeos modificados e métodos de uso de tais composições para inibir e/ou reduzir a formação de espuma.
