É fornecido um meio para prever a eficácia terapêutica anticâncer de 1-((5- (1R)-1-fluoroetil)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-il)metil)-6-(4-metoxipirrolo[2,1- f][1,2,4]triazin-5-il)-2-metil-1H-imidazo[4,5-b]piridina ou um derivado do mesmo em câncer sólido e, assim, especificar um indivíduo que será o mais beneficiado pelo tratamento com o composto e pelo tratamento com o composto em combinação com outro fármaco e/ou outra terapia. Como um biomarcador para prever a resposta terapêutica ao composto, é usado um caráter genético previsto para conferir sensibilidade à inibição de CLK.
