A presente invenção refere-se a componentes de bateria incluindo um coletor de corrente e uma camada de revestimento disposta sobre pelo menos uma porção de uma superfície do coletor de corrente. O coletor de corrente pode incluir uma liga de alumínio com teor de reciclado. Em alguns exemplos, o coletor de corrente pode incluir de 50% a 100% de teor de alumínio reciclado. A liga de alumínio com teor de reciclado pode ser, por exemplo, uma liga de alumínio da série 3xxx ou uma liga de alumínio da série 5xxx.
