Um sistema de cultivo para cultivar plantas e culturas fornece um ambiente aeróbico, controlando uma pluralidade de fatores ambientais que diminuem as tensões ambientais em torno das plantas ou culturas. A diminuição dos estresses ambientais aumenta a atividade da enzima hidrolítica e libera enzimas hidrolíticas adicionais. As enzimas hidrolíticas quebram uma pluralidade de moléculas de armazenamento complexas da planta ou cultura em moléculas de armazenamento simples, aumentando a produção de trifosfato de adenosina, dando à planta mais energia para aumentar a matéria seca.
