MÉTODO DE FABRICAÇÃO DE UM CONSUMÍVEL, CONSUMÍVEL PARA USO COM UM SISTEMA DE FORNECIMENTO DE AEROSSOL NÃO COMBUSTÍVEL, DISPOSITIVO DE FORNECIMENTO DE AEROSSOL, SISTEMA DE FORNECIMENTO DE AEROSSOL E MÉTODO PARA GERAR AEROSSOL A PARTIR DE UM CONSUMÍVEL. É fornecido um método de fabricação de um consumível (24) para uso com um sistema de fornecimento de aerossol não combustível, no qual o consumível compreende um suporte (30) e um material gerador de aerossol (32). O método compreende as etapas de (a) fornecer um suporte; (b) tratar a superfície de pelo menos uma porção de uma primeira superfície (28) do suporte; e (c) aplicar material gerador de aerossol a pelo menos uma porção da primeira superfície do suporte. O tratamento de superfície da etapa (b) compreende a alteração de uma ou mais características químicas ou físicas da superfície, onde as alterações das características físicas da superfície são alcançadas por um ou mais processos que não incluem perfuração ou gravação em relevo do suporte.
